Privacy Notice
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This notice explains which personal data I process when you visit this website or write to me, why I process it, who receives it and which rights you have. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Who is responsible
I am responsible for the processing of personal data on this website:
Filipp Mindubaev
Zürich, Switzerland
filippmindubaev@gmail.com
You can write to this address with any question about data protection.
2. Visiting this website
When you open this website, the server of my hosting provider (see section 5) processes technical data automatically: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page you asked for, the website you came from, and information about your browser and device. This is needed to show you the website and to keep it secure and running.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts, pictures and scripts come from this website itself, not from the servers of other companies. I do not create profiles and I do not make automated decisions about you.
3. Language setting
If you choose a language with the EN | DE switch, your browser remembers your choice on your device (in the local storage of the browser, under the name fm-lang). This information stays on your device and I do not receive it. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
4. Contact form and email
If you use the contact form, I receive what you enter: your name, your email address, your brand or company (optional), the topic you choose and your message. Name, email address and message are required so that I can answer you. Netlify also saves the time of sending and technical data such as your IP address. If you write to me by email, I receive your email address and your message.
I use this data only to answer you and, if a collaboration comes about, to prepare and carry it out. I do not use it for newsletters or advertising and I do not sell it.
5. Who receives the data
These companies receive personal data when they provide their service for this website:
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this website. Netlify also receives the messages from the contact form, saves them and forwards them to my email address. Privacy policy of Netlify
- Akismet (Automattic Inc., USA) is a spam filter. Netlify uses it to check every message from the contact form. For this check, the content of the message and technical data such as the IP address can be passed on to Akismet. Privacy notice of Akismet
- Google (Gmail) provides my email service. For users in Switzerland, the provider is Google Ireland Limited (Ireland). Google also processes data in the USA (Google LLC). Emails and form messages that arrive in my email account are stored there. Privacy policy of Google
I do not pass your data on to other third parties, unless I am required to by law, for example towards an authority.
6. Transfers abroad
Netlify, Inc., Automattic Inc. (Akismet) and Google LLC are based in the USA, Google Ireland Limited in Ireland. They can process data on servers in these countries and in other countries.
The Swiss Federal Council lists Ireland as a country with an adequate level of data protection. It has also decided that the USA offers an adequate level of data protection for companies that are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Netlify, Inc. and Google LLC are certified under this framework. Akismet (Automattic Inc.) states that it protects international transfers with standard contractual clauses.
7. How long data is kept
The hosting provider keeps server log data for a limited time and then deletes it. I keep messages from the contact form, and emails, as long as I need them to answer you and to prepare and carry out a collaboration. After that I delete them, including the copy saved by Netlify. I keep data longer only if the law requires it, for example business records for accounting.
8. Your rights
You can ask me at any time:
- to tell you whether I process personal data about you and which data it is (right of access)
- to correct data that is wrong
- to delete your data or to stop processing it
- not to pass your data on to third parties
- to give you the data you gave me in a common electronic format, or to pass it on to another controller (data portability)
To use one of these rights, write to me at the email address in section 1. I may ask you to prove your identity first. The law limits some of these rights, for example when I must keep data.
If you think I process your data against data protection law, you can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch.
9. Links to other websites
This website links to my Instagram account and to single Instagram posts. The pictures in the Instagram section are saved on this website, so no data is sent to Instagram while you look at this website. If you click such a link, you leave this website and Instagram (Meta) processes your data under its own privacy policy.
10. Data security
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Sending data over the internet can never be completely secure.
11. Visitors from the EU and EEA
This notice follows Swiss data protection law. If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, I process your data because of my legitimate interest in running this website securely and in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and to take steps at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
12. Changes
I may change this notice, for example when I change this website or when the law changes. The version on this page is the current one. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
